Gm didn't changing anything. This is just an option for people who want a different look for their 2019.

Just like when the they made the optional "SEMA" grilles for the 16-18 LT and SS.

I'd disagree. If GM heard the complaints loud and clear, and then decided to release this optional front end, I'd say mission accomplished, even if its not standard.

I'd say 2019 is too late, but it IS possible the SEMA look could become standard in 2020. If it doesn't that's too bad, but at least we will have options. Sad part is most people may not even know about it if its just an option.

Sometimes I wonder if the refresh is a small precursor of whats to come on the next generation Camaro. If you look at the 14-15 Gen5 Camaro next to a Gen6 Camaro you can see how the front and rear bumper covers on the 14-15 Camaro were designed to look similar to the Gen6. Maybe GM is preparing us for what's to come on the next generation. I didn't like the new look at first, but I will admit that I'm warming up to it now that I've seen some of the recent pictures that members have posted and the Sema bumper cover.

I like the 19 refresh also but do prefer the bow tie in the upper grill. The black bumper bar looks better than the painted version. It distinguishes the 19 from the earlier models including the gen5

IDK... they went as far as even changing the NASCAR look to this “re-refresh”

It's like the split bumper option on the 70-73 2Gen camaro. it's not really a drastic change or a re-facelift

Nice looking red SS! Goes well with the Redline rims. Looks like many of the dealers with 19's have body kits or part upgrades giving the car a bit more definition.

I know nobody likes the new face, but it actually looks really good in black, with the 1LE package. Looks mean. I just picked one up so I'm biased, but I think the new face is getting more negative feedback than it really deserves.
