David,

Post up some info for the fellas on your new 2nd gen Airraid if you got it..

Might make a difference....

We've tried three different CAI's on our car....every single one of them benefitted from a tune.

Food for thought.

I believe that is V-6 only but I could be mistaken.

Hello Bad Karma,

There is no second gen for the V8, so I posted the picture of the current set up.

We have had absolutely great results with LS3/L99 system, it’s a great kit and Simply 2nd To None on the market.

While I agree the car “Could” benefit in performance from an aftermarket “Tune” , there is a huge difference between benefiting from a tune and “Requiring” a tune.

No Intake system should “Require” a tune to make it work right, as in that case the “Tune” is making up for lack of engineering or an ability to offer proper calibration.

Thanks,
David

Make sure you get one that will have a steady maf signal, cause no matter how much power one makes if the drivability sucks that 1 or 2 extra horsepower ain't worth it!!!! Trust me I know from experience.
