Isabel was '03.....if you were living in Leesburg that was the one.

I'm watching a couple of guys live streaming from Port Charlotte Harbor. They can see the bay floor for over 100 feet out. Looks like a really bad surge is coming.

Yep and the king tide is coming in about the same time the hurricane hits.

Here you go......massive flooding, not good. Cape Coral, Sanibel Island, Marco Island, Downtown Fort Myers. Basically any area near water. Check out Charlotte County, Lee County and Collier County evacuation zones. If its Zone A they got at LEAST 6ft of water. Zone B got wide spread flooding as well as Zone C. If you weren't in that C or D zone you have the typical home damage like roofs, fences, windows. Then power lines, redlights, lamp posts down.

Yeah, I was watching Rainman Ray's videos. His place is flooded, and he's a little ways inland from Sarasota.

Yeah I was watching those, I love his channel. Cleetus McFarland posted some damage at his shop and the track in the Bradenton area, but mostly minimal structural stuff.

We faired very well here, as thankfully the storm turned more eastward on Wednesday - but obviously not so good for those south of me. Seeing what it did to Sanibel/Captiva Island (freaking causeway collapsed and partially washed away), Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, etc. I just feel for the families of those that didn't make it through this. Rough times indeed.

Yep, thats me, my co-workers and parents. I live more inland, co-workers majority live in Cape, parents live 2 miles away from the causeway.

Yeah, it looks like the Fort Myers area got slammed. My wife works for an electric company, and they're sending their linemen down there.
