Performance numbers seem low. Should be a mid 11 car with that power.

not really, at least not for a magazine test. These are the same people that got an 11.6 from a ZR1 Corvette. Oh, and I read the article at edmunds and the 0-60 was without the 1 ft rollout. With it they got 3.9s

and found those rims along with a few other parts listed with prices and item numbers. This website is a bit old, but I hope it helps. I kinda wanna get the cold air intake that GM makes. I assuming that with it, there would be no possible way to void the warranty. |

if it doesn't have a meaningful handling upgrade, its not a Z28.

With the stiffening package they have now, I'm sure they'll put more effort into that in the coming year or two before they unleash it to the public. I was underwhelmed by the upgrade package, and honestly.. I could get a 1SS, put the SLP charger pack on the top end, put the hood on, and have an approximation in the low 40s that shouldn't void my warranty too bad; SLP will cover the work so I hear.
Though it'd be nice to do all of that and have a full bore ZL575, I may do a close approx once my warranty is up and they have a more agressive tune (by then they'd have moved on to Gen 6 if my timeing is right). Oddly enough.. if the Camaro does go smaller to Alpha later in the decade.. anyone ever realize that this would almost be like an A body vs F body? One more reason for me to either get it later or get it used. |
