Tried searchin for the exact spot on the web...best I came up with is it's called the "clear flood mode"...anyway worked for me when I did it as a test..apparently it is built into all GM ECM's...it disables the injectors...

and no, not before every start...this would be used when the lifters need a pre-lube before first fire..

It's in the owner's manual. Under Starting Procedure.

I Still have to wait a few days for my remote tune, I'm actually in the cab holding at 1k... when it surges its because I let off. But regardless i'm pretty sure that squeak/chirping dosent have anything to do with a tune. It sounds like lifter failure vids I've seen..I only ran it for two mins tops. what do yall think

if you had a lifter failure you would know it...I wonder if that squeak is the same go go had on his first start...his thinkin was water pump...what is the level of the coolant?

Very low, Only filled with 2 gallons, Need another one plus some apparently.. Car hasn't even ran long enough for it to work through yet. Don't wanna run for extended periods until I get my tune files.

Also forgot to mention but i dumped a quart over the valve train, cam has assembly lube, and lifters were soaked in oil for several days before install.
