If I had a 10-13, I'd do it in a heartbeat; hell, I'd trade that car in for just about anything I could get my hands on that was comparable. However, with my current car, it just depends on the options and final price. Aesthetics are completely subjective and for the performance, it's a better baseline to start with. Although I'd be pretty hard pressed to pull the trigger on another Camaro again--maybe a special edition of some kind.

might consider a ZL1 down the road USED, and that is if the interior is roomy enough, have yet to set in one let alone drive.

Nope, the back seat is too small. They should have a back seat delete option to cut the costs of the car.

It's priced too close to that of a C7.

I'm wondering too.

If GM does the 20%, I think it would be Thanksgiving weekend, but I sure as hell wouldn't trade.

I am so in love with my "new to me" used 2015 2SS/RS 1LE, that I wouldn't trade it in for 20% off a new C7 Corvette.

Not a chance. Cannot beat the style of the Gen5, and to get in a Gen6 Vert...forget about it...Too much $

Sat in a 2017 ZL1 today and while an incredible piece of machinery, no. I would not trade my 5th Gen for it. 2 reasons, 1) No Aqua Blue Metallic ZL1. Yes I know there's Hyper blue, but it's not quite the same. and 2) It's just too dang small. The middle A/C vent would be blowing on my knee the entire time and after years of basketball I don't need my knee to ache anymore than it already does.

To be honest I don't plan on selling mine anytime in the future

If anything I'll run the LS3 till it starts to get tired, might then consider adding more mods/rebuild, and if not that then definitely throw a crate engine at it.

I love my 5th gen, and I figure I'll have a very sick SS in 10 years time with the money I saved by not adding onto my car payments.

I didn't realize how relatively cheap LS crates were till my buddy told me how expensive it would be to get his E55 AMG V8 built. You can almost buy 3 LSX 376's with some money to spare lol

Never! I told my wife she will have bury me in my 5th Gen. I do have to admit though, I did see and sit in a 2017 50th anniversary edition and it is very very nice.
