Finally a great video of the car in full throttle action. Sounds glorious.

Good to see a well lit shot of the grey split spokes with machined edges.

I thought bolstering referred to padding limiting side to side movement, not lumbar adjustments?

Either way, it's something that can be fixed, and wouldn't stop me from buying the car.

Also, I'd play that video in the background just to hear that LT1 sing... damn that was nice.
Yes, bolstering limits side movement.

I thought is review was very positive other than the seats. He's clearly a good driver, and comes off as someone that doesn't seem giddy because he's undoubtedly had experience with some very high performance vehicles.

Hopefully, that is what I was picking up on.

Buy some different seats?

He probably drives an "m" car and is too butt hurt and can't bring himself to say that it's a great car.

This guy seems to be a track guy that is used to sitting in recaros, my guess is you'll be fine.
I agree with this statement. He makes it sound like a good dd driver but not the best track car. For my daily it helps me that I made the right choice. I want a little softer seat for 45 min drives back and forth to the office. The SS is not a track car and why it is the best version v8 for mag control. Want a track car get base suspension and change out the seat to racaro's. Even take the rear seat and full interior out. Maybe gt350R style. That would make better sense to me. Although he mentions to just wait and get the ZL1 version for tracking.

The gist I got is that this is a great every day muscle car but in it's base SS form without drivetrain and seat upgrades, it's not a serious track car. And that's fine for me and about 99.9% of people buying the SS.

Fact is, the 2SS is intended to be luxurious with heated and cooled leather, memory driver's seat, etc.

I would even submit that the cloth seats on the 1SS would not let you slide around as much as the leather on the 2SS, thus making the 1SS a little more driver oriented.

That really sounds good. I'd rather see him track it than drift it. I think I'm really going to like this car.
