I just found this thread and am planning to be there... hopefully I don't get run out of town for owning a 6 cylinder... I just want to meet other enthusiasts and spectate...

BTW- If anyone is coming through Tifton, GA and wants to meet up and cruise down let me know, it'd be awesome to get a group together or join a group going down...

Will there be a designated meeting place Saturday morning and a caravan to the track like a couple of years ago?

Their not doing an official caravan Saturday morning... I spoke with someone with Steeda and they said everyone, outside of the caravan from florida Friday, will be meeting at the track... I don't see why we couldn't organize one of our own...it just wont be escorted...

Thanks Jake. Too bad - Caravans (especially well escorted ones) are lots of fun. I'm subscribed to this thread so I'll keep a watch out for the possibility. Otherwise... I guess I'll just meet y'all there if the weather cooperates.

I'll be coming through Tifton too (from Albany area). That makes two of us! Not staying overnight so it will just be a Saturday day-trip for me. Hopefully some others doing the same thing will chime in and we can join up for the ride in. It's only about 30 miles to the venue.

I've always been the one to organize the escorted cruises, and I've been the one to collect the money and pay for them (they aren't free). It doesn't look like there will be enough participation to cover the cost this year though, and Steeda doesn't contribute.

However, we will have an "unofficial" cruise up to the track from the hotel.

OK Gang....there are only 3 days left on the group rate at the hotel!!! Book your room now!! Even if you have to cancel you can take advantage of the $86 as opposed to $139....that's a big difference!!!
