I just saw those at target and they also had copper scrubbing pads which I picked up. Both were 2 bucks at my local target. I picked the copper pads as they definitely won't ever come apart.

This forum inspired me to make one using a stainless steel thermos. Thanks for the idea!

Did a DIY for it:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=366135

Only change was to use fuel injector hose to kill the 'hiss' that came from the cheaper hose...

I like that one -- looks like a remote oil filter adapter like I used on my Piper Warrior!

That's a really cool idea ! I just posted about using one of the universal catch cans I seen on ebay for like 30.00 but no one responded. I really don't see what the difference is between the $200.00 rx or elite or the ebay one for $30.00? Maybe Ill try and make my own as well.

Is there any way we can run two of these ? I've been getting a lot of grief some some of the other people on this forum say in that these won't work only the 200.oo ones like elite and rx or apex works...if that's the case if i can run 2 of these 20 Lowe's set ups I'm still 160.00 ahead of the game ! Also OP can you give me a parts list for you set up please ?

I suppose you could, but it still won't do as much (and definitely won't look as good) as a proper catch-can setup.

You'd want to run the outlet of the first can into the inlet of the second can. Not gonna guarantee how well it will work, but hey, it's worth a shot.

I finally got around to building mine and mounted it today.

Thought i heard a faint leak but after spraying some wd40 i didn't find anything. Sitting in the driveway it would rev to 3,000rpm and no more. No audible misses, didn't trip any lights, so for now its off and the car runs fine. I blew through the hose and plugged off the other and everything appeared tight.

???
