1983 Opel Manta... bought 6 hours after passing my tes and I was too scared to drive it.

First car was a '52 Chevy, first decent car was a '61 Impala SS Convertible - 348 cu.in, solid lifters, Muncie 4 spd trans, 4.56 rear with "cheater" slicks. I am very fortunate I didn't kill myself in that car, but it sure was a blast!
