Plates
I was wondering about the plates. Are most of you keeping the state issue or are you getting your own? I want to get my own the ones I have narrowed it down to are 09 COPO, RICE ETR, ETAB4U or if I can get black on black like I want NOS4A2, it means nosferatu with is ancient germanic for vampire. I'm not into raving and goth by any means. But the description is fitting. A seductive being who inspires lust and phantasy in others while making them his slave.I think it is a perfect description but I doubt that the "pony boys" will understand it.

There's a few that are available here in CA, WYKD SS, WYKDZ28, WKYD SS, LNE EMUP, and a few others.

We're allowed 7 letters on personalized plates in Maryland. Here's some I've considered:
NATEZ (Most likely choice) ZIP IT DONT CRY 4CYL LOL A E I PWN U 5TH SNSE NO HEMI HI MOM TI EVOM (For the people who stare at me in their rearview mirror, and still don't move over) DEUS EX (Latin for "God out of a machine") ZYA LTR (If I get a Z/28) And a couple that I thought were funny, but wouldn't do: STFU PLS SO SOLLY CAMARO5

If I manage to get my Camaro as soon as it's available (which is not currently the plan) and I somehow manage to get one of the first 999 out of the Factory, My plate will be:
NMBR### (### = whatever number my Camaro is) otherwise I'm thinking simply: 2009 09 Z28 09 Z-28 09 MARO CAMAR09 Z-MARO MY Z28 MY Z-28 GEN5Z28 2WSHLFT (2 Wishes Left) 2FAST4U 2LOUD4U 2CRZY4U DSK2DWN (Dusk to Dawn) ITS ON DNT TCH (Don't Touch) TCHNDIE (Touch and Die) Washington's personalized plate query engine says that these are all available, but I'm beginning to think it's going to tell me that everything's available. EDIT: Nope, "CAMARO" is not available.

Is there any way to reserve a plate for future use? I can't really put a Camaro plate on my Corolla, but if I find a plate I know I want, I may not want to risk having someone else take it first.

There is at least in CA, you pay the 50 initially then it's like 20 bucks a year to renew it. You just buy the rights to the name. If GM had given trim levels I would reserve my plate within 10 minutes of hearing.
