I look through dealer lots frequently at different SS Camaros and IMO it looks better on some colors than others. I personally like it on silver and feel it ties together nicely with the silver and black exterior scheme on my wife's car. As a plus it serves as a functional under hood heat extractor. My wife likes it, and when she's happy, I'm happy.
I know its functional,it just looks tacky to me.

Yeah I never understood the rational for that on the 10-13's.

It could have been for easy identification of an SS.

But at least its not hideous or tacky

I just think there should be a choice of hoods on the order sheet.

I love everything else about it,well maybe not the rear plate space but I can live with that.

I really dont care what Camaro owners think of the refresh, what matters most is that I like it and it seems ALOT of other people also like it because the Camaro is still selling very well....So all in all Chevy did a good job and if you guys dont like the refresh then dont buy one, its pretty simple but dont talk crap to fellow Camaro owners about about YOU think your Camaro is the holy grail cause it isnt....

I have to agree with you batman, I didn't get the whole "you can't afford a new one" comment either.

I LOVE BOTH models, but there are things that are better or worse on each! I think the '14 front looks more aggressive, and I love my hood vent vs the previous mailslot. I really don't like the taillights of either model. I totally don't get the license plate area on the back of my '14 being so big either, makes no sense whatsoever. Although I own an RS version, I don't like many things about it.

With all that said, I'm proud to own my retarded-ugly taillights-weirdo license plate area-dryer vent hood freaking BADASS CAMARO.

I only said maybe "they cant afford a new one" just because some people have to have something to complain about. I dont care if they can afford 10 of them personally people just need to stop knocking the 2014's...I was always told if you dont have something nice to say then dont say nothing at all...

I worked my ass for my 2014 SS and if someone doesnt like it, then tough shit.

I've owned both, I like them both. The best thing about it is choice, get what you what you like you have to pay for it.

Well, OP hoped that this didn't become a 10-13 vs 14 mudslinging contest.
(Going to hide in the nearest bomb shelter now).

Another vote for "love the front don't care for her butt" That's ok I'd still buy one if it was time to part with the '12.

When you look at the back of the new Vette, and compare it to a 10-13 Camaro then it becomes obvious why they redesigned the Camaro rear end.

Please keep discussion away from personal digs and bashing others cars.

We all have our own likes and dislikes and that should be respected.

Thanks

I love my 1LE, and with RS the taillights are LED and sick looking at night. At the same time, when people see the rear of the car and don't pay attention to the hood, i've been mistaken for a Z28 a few times

So for me, the 14's were make it. I wasn't in love with the previous taillights anyway.
