Could I switch from running 50/50 water meth to running 116 race fuel in my tank and it still work? My meth is on order but I have 8 gallons of 116 going to waste.

I did a pull and my AFRs stayed in the 11s.

I don't thing 50/50 water meth has near the octane rating of 116.

If your running 50/50 mix you are not supplementing fuel, you are using it as a intake charge cooling method and the answer is no.

Use 100% Methanol and then yes, your accomplishing cooling and fuel supplement so the answer in your case is no.

Look up Alky Control and read how you can use 100% Methanol to accomplish both. Also, a substitute is winter blend windshield washer fluid that is near 50/50 mix can be used if your out, but do NOT use 116 race fuel or any gasoline in the tank.
