What I want to see is the new I-1 programmed for the Tour/Sport/Track modes on the 6th Gen so that you don't need their display.

Make it so!

this may be a stupid question to those with experience, but I'm new to FI and wanted to know... is there a chance this will be emissions legal? one of the big downsides of living in Cali...

As long as you still have the 4 stock cats (2 on the headers and 2 on the xpipe) you shouldn't have any issues. Going or reducing the cats is what really makes it illegal.

Some one should call them before they make the same mistake with the new ZL1/Z28 or whatever they decide to call it....

Sarcasm aside, I'm just suggesting people think about the whole drive train when boosting their new cars.
Yes there is no reason to worry.

You know how many 650+ rwhp C7's are out there?

I drive my C7 more than most and put 8,000 miles on my car after supercharging. 1,500 of it at about 565 and the rest at 645(added meth) and its been rock solid.

700rwhp seems to be the safe limit for a C7. The engine can take it, the manual trans can take it, the rear diff...who knows, it does in the C7 but its a pretty beefy setup on the C7.

There are quite a few out there with over 20,000 miles on their SC'd engines. Good tuning is the key to all of it.

Adding meth takes care of the coking issue too with DI, sprays it clean every day

Number 1 reason we are looking at a Camaro SS convertible for my wife is the fact we know we can bolt on a SC and have it be reliable over 600rwhp.

If you want 550 you just need the kit, nothing else. IF you want over 600 you just need to add meth. My exhaust is still completely stock down to the manifolds, cats, and NPP.
