Check engine light with IPF kit.
I got my car running today for the first time after installing my kit. so far everything seems good minus 2 issues. my first one is a squeal I'm getting near the supercharger. Idk if it's the belt or the pulleys but I'm looking into it.
my other issue and reason I'm posting is I'm getting a code for P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input anybody else ever get this code or know a reason why? could I have damaged the maf when installing it? (doubt I did since I was very careful. the kit calls for splicing to extend the wiring but just so you guys know I had the extension so I didn't need to do that and I checked it off the connections were good. any input would be great thanks! Just make sure the supercharger has oil in it. It will make noise, but also make sure the top idler pulley isn't rubbing the bracket. You will know if it is because you will see small metal shavings around the pulley.

This..... also make sure the power steering fluid is circulating, if the hose has collapsed it will squeal too and make steering difficult. make sure you have a spring in the steering hose to keep from collapsing

I can also add that when I first started it today it was squeaking at idle and after applying some belt dressing it went away and now only on load does it squeal. So that leads me to think it's something with the belt. Idk if maybe some power steering fluid got on the pulleys and the belt is slipping or what idk just trying to figure it out. this..this is on the lesser side of tension, went with 1 size shorter belt and its on the other side and no issues

Tensioner looks to be in about the "mid" position- mines just a bit tighter.
That's definitely looks like bits of belt laying around. Keep looking for the rubbing point. Should be a skinny black mark somewhere above those shavings! |

if mines mid position could it possible not be tight enough causing it to rub somewhere? I just went out and looked it over and i cant see any possible areas its rubbing. everything seems to be lined up and even. |

I wouldn't expect it to rub at that tension but you may get a short squeal at start up or at very low rpm operation with a stick shift.
Good luck! BTW- I think what Arno is saying is your MAF extension is bad and needs replaced. |

I have the exact squealing issue you're having I think, mines whenever I have the a/c on while idling. Sometimes a little at start up. Have yet to determine the problem as I don't have any rubbing issue anywhere it seems. It's a bit embarrassing sitting at a light with it squealing but I have yet to detect where the problem is originating from, I may have to get a belt a size smaller like sycraft and see it that fixes it. Best of luck finding your issue bro.
