Sorry, I don't use T-Taps. I heard over time they could cause corrosion.

I wired the the positive to the posive T/C wire and black to the black ground T/C wire.

How do you control on/off?
Dimmer switch?

That come on whenever you turn on your light's manually or automatically. You could add a switch if you want, but I don't think it's neccesary.
