It's stating the same stats, the Camaro and mustangs are correct comparing the two but the Challenger

In pure numbers, Camaro is leading the way for January 2014 deliveries. Considering all of the negative comments on this site (and I'm sure, other Camaro sites) when the '14 design was introduced, I think that's a pretty good sign. I liked the '14 from the get-go and if I hadn't just bought a '13 I wouldn't hesitate to get a '14. I think the January 2014 Mustang numbers are up because Mustang lovers aren't crazy about the 2015 design - they've been waiting on it, but decided to go with the more appealing '14 instead.

A 30% drop is still significant.

these sales still represent leftovers. I don't see a lot of new Camaros on the road here in NY. Probably count them on one hand.

Idk if it's just my area or what, but the Mustang supply has been dwindling for the last few months, where as the Camaro supply has been numerous. The local ford dealership has had one Mustang on the lot I know for the last month, they just got a big shipment of mustangs Saturday they now have 8 on the lot, and I bet they don't sell one for at least a few months. Local Chevy dealership has 10 2014 Camaros that have been sitting for a while. Went and test drove a new Malibu at the beginning of January and the salesman said they have only sold 2 Camaros since September. 1 2013 and 1 2014. Said they just can't move any. They also have 2 2013s left on the lot and had a 2012 until November

I expected Challenger sales to be quite low with all the hype in the last 2 years about the new 2015 Challenger refresh coming out on 22 March of this year. Oh and that new HellCat Hemi is worth noting too. I am not sure why folks keep saying the Challenger is so heavy when in fact my 2SS Camaro is only 150 lbs lighter than my SRT8 Challenger. I weighed them both, but my Bullitt Mustang is lighter still than the Camaro by almost 475 lbs!! The Camaro needs to lose some weight too!

Local sales and insipid anecdotes about what you see on the roads in your area do not and will never represent national or global sales.
