wheel possibilities...
anyone wanna be super cool and post up all the possible wheel styles and finishes...
from what i take it, for the non z51 there's only 1 wheel option (QG6) in 3 finishes (silver is stock, QX3/chrome and RQ1/machined; as options). for the z51 cars, also 1 style of wheel as offered (Q7S) also available 3 finishes (silver is stock, Q7E/chrome and Q7T/black; as options). if someone could clarify that as correct or not, would be much appreciated. The chevy website has all of the wheel options available to show on a corvette. Just click on the current C6, then look to the right to see 2014 Stingray.

Do the C6 wheel measurements/offsets same as the C7's? Just wondering that if there were 19" or 20" wheels that fit the C6 models, would they alikely also be compatible & fit the C7's? Both Base and Z51 models.

The base C6 wheels, which talon90 just confirmed have the same offset as the C7 wheels, are:
Front 18 x 8.5, +56 mm offset 50 Rear 19 x 10, +79 mm offset- 65 So you will want to find 19/20 wheels as close to those specs as poss. |

I picked mine up yesterday and drove over to HRE to have them measure the Stingray. Ordered 2 sets, 1 3 piece set for street use and a 1 set of 1 piece monoblocks for track use.
I ordered them through Piccione Performance but HRE did not have measurements to see how wide I could go, so on my way back to AZ they arranged for me to stop by and have the car measured. HRE has a really nice operation, while they measured the Ray they gave me a tour of the manufacturing facility, I was extremely impressed.

I think you'll be able to fit some 18's with dr's back there but for now I will be doing more road racing than drag racing. This is also going to be my driver so its an auto, I have a manual ordered that's scheduled to be built the week of the 14th, that one will be more of a track use car with limited street use.
