Z51 final drive ratios
Does the Z51 package come with a different rear end ratio than non Z51 cars?
If so, does anyone know what those ratios are for both stick and auto transmissions. Alfie (Mariano)

Try this link:
http://media.gm.com/content/media/us...2014.tab1.html Scroll down a bit and there is a chart showing all the transmission and differential ratios. The Z51 manual does have closer ratios than non-Z51, but the diff is the same for both. The automatic apparently has the same ratios, Z51 or not, and different from either manual version.

Yes, that's what I understand too. I imagine they did that so the Z51 auto is a little quicker than the non-Z51, since the transmission ratios aren't changing (like the manuals do). Gonna be a fantastic ride either way!
