I keep hearing over and over again: "If you could afford a C6, you should be able to afford a C7."
We'll see how that plays out.

I understand. But knowing myself, I'll want it fully loaded. It's the "accesories or packages" that I'm itching to know about. How much am I going to fork out for those.. Besides, it has got to have somewhat of a premium added to it.

Agree. Way over 60K will get me thinking... ruling in / ruling out options. |

Z51 package might push it over $60k.

well if you stick with the 10% assumption (new tech, carbon fiber standard, a few extra ponies over the C6, blah, blah) and guesstimate the base at $55K then yes, the Z51 package would easily throw it over $60K. Hopefully after a year or so, we'll see the return of some serious discounting.
But really, if the C7 is going to be that good and GM sees it competing against the 911 then it still represents the performance bargain of the century. You can get stupid fast for about the same amount of money with a ZL1 or GT500. I just want to drive the thing and see how it feels. Is it truly a "sports car" to use the classic phrasing. |

I get confused that they keep saying its going to be at least 450 HP/TQ.
Makes me hope that it will be higher to the 500 RWHP range. Im not keen on the side markers either, but since Ive only owned red cars, that wont factor in at much |
