Back off jack!! I didn't do anything wrong to you except point out that YOUR rude and sarcastic remarks to the guys who were just trying to help you out was out of line. I never threatened you in any way, shape or form! So don't be throwing anything at me!! All I did was agree with the guys who thought the same way. Here it is again.. And like someone said, looks like nobody has done what you are asking. There's your answer..

^^^^ Nailed it bro!! We don't need another "seth21" or "scotavo".... Bye bye... We're here to help, not to listen to obnoxious replies from someone who says they ALREADY know..

Anybody that doesn't understand that the charging system is the same between the SS and ZL1 wouldn't understand a detailed discussion anyway.

Lets get real... The two systems are very different starting with the Alternator they are different between the ZL1 and the SS (Check your Part numbers) Second even if they were the same the Zl1 is running stuff that doesn't exist in an SS, Suspension Control Module for the MAG struts, additional relays for the SC Pump, the Steering Assembly is electric vs Hydraulic, additional lights up front, HUDS display, PTM or Power Train Management just to name a few. So even if the Alternator were the same to say the voltage output would be the same is not a justifiable comparison.

Some of the SS cars actually do have a few of those things like HUD and Electric steering…

At the end of the day both are still pretty similar and both designed to run on a 12v system…

If you think that really changes how the charging system is designed/operates you don't understand the system. Even if the alternator has an increased amperage and the system has an increased load, the charging system architecture is the same, and doesn't change the discussion of going from a 12v to 14v system.
