How rare is it?

I have scoured the web night after night, using a variety of search words and following bread crumbs to the most obscure reaches of the net. I finally found ONE other car like mine that was sold in Winnipeg, Canada for $40K CAD.

2015 2SS/RS Commemorative Edition convertible with the 6 speed manual transmission. Wow. (Mine does have the short throw shifter however, and this one does not.)

you know they didnt make many.a buddy has a 2015 commemorative edition in white,RS/SS with sunroof.its pretty safe to see you wont see anyone pull up next to you with an identical car.

Interesting. While I’ve certainly seen more than one 2015 SS, I’ve never pulled up next to my identical car either. There doesn’t seem to be an over abundance of 2SS RS Crystal Red cars in general, at least in my N CA area.

Yeah I like it for that. I didn't even know what they were until I spotted it on my phone while laying ICU at the hospital. Bought the car while laying in that bed all drugged up and then flew my daughter up to Oregon to drive it down.

I don't know if I ever seen one here in Las Vegas Valley. They exist, I imagine, but they definitely aren't very common. I see a lot of black, yellow and white Camaros here. Do remember seeing a really striking purple version awhile back. Not sure if it was a factory color though.
