I would say that RS models with the Halos will have the Halo ring as the DTR...and the non-RS models will have the ambers lit.

Aren't the "Halo's" only for the RS package?

Yes, that is why the pic of the black one has a white badge, no halos, no RS. If it had the RS package with the halos the SS badge would have been red instead.

There are obviously no Halos on the car. Those headlights don't look anything like the HIDs with the Halos. And it's clearly not an RS/SS so that makes it double obvious. Why you'd get the SS without the RS is beyond me.

I'm having a difficult time deciding, myself...those 'plain' headlights look very nice! Yes, they are radically different from the Halo/HIDs....but I still like them about the same!

And after staring at the concept for years -- it's strange that I like them.

one thing that may make them so noticable on that picture is because the angle the picture was taken the flash is reflected back from the turn signal light and appears turned on.

Losing the RS package due to budget restrictions wouldn't kill me after looking at these pictures. It's still a beautiful machine.

If all you want from the RS package are the Halos, then I am sure the Aftermarket will gear up and make some that will replace the standard headlights fairly quickly...

I think ill just get one without the halos and install them later on.

Why pay chevy all that extra cash for something you can do later.

Kinda like the DIC in trucks. Only $80 part buty they rape you option it on the truck

You think that's bad? I'd like an SS with hand crank windows, no a/c, no radio, and extra wide LT style steel wheels...with dog dish hubcaps...and no SS emblems.

Why? Id rather have all the luxuries and just add a mod or two to make up for the added weight.

You wanting to take your car to a track all the time?
