OP, you said it's been in the shop 3 weeks? Time to find a new shop. Even IF the insurance hasn't "authorized" it, what's the point of having it there doing nothing? I could see bring it in on Monday, start Friday. Not bring it in July & start in August. I go for ....said that ...said that....said that ...said Last edited by RJT RS; 07-27-2014 at 03:00 PM. It's not fair to post assumptions and speculation either. This thread is for fun.

Why don't you do a forum search, Sherlock? Can't spend the 5 minutes? Try to have a chuckle for the first time in your sour life, jeez. making fun of my problems is my business. If you think that makes me a liar, you got more problems than a bodyshop taking their time.

Are you in a rental car? If not, that's why they're not in a hurry.
If you're in a rental, that's $35-50 per day they're losing out on. |

Try getting Synergy Green Metallic painted, just about as bad as your ordeal. I think it's the unobtainium in the paint lol!!

When I had my '97 Riviera, a truck hit a side view mirror while the car was parked. I brought the car to a dealer shop, a Buick dealer in fact, with a replacement mirror I found. They were also going to be doing some other work. My car was blue from the factory. Side story, they called me to tell me I needed a battery during all this. I went down there and showed them how to check for that- turns out a battery cable was loose. Great shop, good tech skills, but they didn;t even realize the battery was under the rear seat, soo...trying to rip me off? Yep. But that sets us up for the punchline: They showed me the newly painted mirror. Pity they painted it while before they installed it on the car- they painted the damned mirror housing GREEN!

guessing Bob forgot his flux capacitor for the special paint . same time insurance company needs reopen your case due to the time length . then, they will have an "incident " with the switch blade keys...ha

I speculate around Wednesday the body shop will tell you they haven't been paid yet and the insurance company will have to resend them a check because the first one was obviously lost in the mail, as all checks get lost in the mail the first time.

I voted for the RIO option
Somehow it sounds the better excuse ,after all , there is no way , you will call him/her in RIO , those bastards somehow tend to have those meetings, on places that we can only dream to even go there |
