Me thinks some GM's dealers are not as well informed as we…….nor as informed as Becky. I've been led to believe BG has produced a "few" [whatever that means] and they're still in the testing stages. NO ONE seems to really know [outside of GM/Chevrolet/BG etc] when Verts will begin to actually go into a full production mode.
But then again, what do I know……sitting out here in cyber-space…waiting, waiting wanting not so patiently for my Vert. |

I have only seen one C7 convertible around here and that was a few weeks ago. FWIW I live near Van Dyke & Ten Mile Road, several miles north of the GM Building on Jefferson in Detroit.
I have no idea if as many CTF convertibles are needed as originally with the coupes, but I suspect not. If one has been at 3000 for more than a few weeks I expectthey will be produced esrly in the regular convertible run. But the kicker: regular convertible production has to begin but once it does you all will be all right. Laborsmith |

There is too much dealer action not to believe that the production is imminent. They provided wire instructions and information to courtesy deliver the car here in Florida (I ordered the vert up north). Anyone who ordered the Z51 option will need to wait. They are back ordered.

Constraint means the order will not "pass" to the accepted level and has nothing to do with the time it takes to get an order produced. But it is a sign that an accepted order may not be produced as quickly as an accepted order that has none. Laborsmith |

My 'vert went to 3300. A little birdie at the BG plant says convertible production has begun. They are building them now. Exciting. May be a great Thanksgiving.

I saw where some of Rick "Corvette" Conti Verts went 3400. So maybe it won't be too long. Its only been 6 months now.

jb306y, you'll be fine. They build convertibles and coupes together on the line. It was quite common in the past to see 3-5 coupes, then maybe 6 convertibles, then more coupes, etc. in all the colors at one time. They may load up a little heavier on convertibles for a few weeks, but will still run coupes too. At 3400, it won't be long now for you!

Anyone see anything more on the convertible top color. It is available in Black, Grey, Khalari and Blue. I am trying to decide and have only found one Chevy posting with more a sketch than a real color swatch. I am going with Night Race Blue. LT3 Khalari interior so I was thinking Khalari top.. Thoughts????
