I've always used the EBC stuff. I've used the solid rotors and red stuff pads that were good for daily driving very little brake dust but sucked when it came time to stop from a 100 mph, they faded really quick. I know have the dimpled and slotted rotors and NDX blue stuff full race pads that stop great compared to others that I've tried in the past including to factory pads. However, I wish I could get the performance out of the NDX pads without all the brake dust. So, I will be looking to change them out pretty soon and will be looking for a pad that won't fade from a high-speed stop and minimal brake dust. And always the price is always a concern.

I check to see if the box says "Akebono" on it. I've NEVER received a bad product from them, across many different platforms.

I can say I am having slight issues with Powerstop pads. It -might- be self inflicted.
Do you recommend ceramic pads with slotted and drilled rotors?

I've been running Hawk ceramic (yellow) pads and DBA slotted rotors for years and have loved them. They stop great, dust minimal, and the rotors look great too. Not a ton of people with DBA that I've noticed, but they're a great rotor and their look that helps improve stopping power is quite unique.
