HEADER & AIR INTAKE CHOICES
I have a 45th anniversary camaro with L99, Can anyone offer advice on which are the best performance headers to get and also which is the best performance cold air intake. We are also doing a 50hp computer upgrade. and will do catback exhausts later. tHANKS dEAN

Cold air inductions with a scoop will give you the most HP gains

Good luck with that 50hp computer upgrade. That's a big number to hit with a tune.
If money is no object, I'm not the guy to get advice from. If you want to send your kids to college, try the TSP headers for under $500. I run OBX, but TSP weren't that cheap back then. As for intakes, CAI, Vararam and New Era get the best reviews if you don't mind spending that kind of money on an intake. I bought a used K&N out of the classifieds on here.

We just had an L99 in the shop. We added a CAI intake and Kooks Headers with Hi Flow Cats. He already had a Magnaflow Catback.
Dyno Tuned and got right around 40 extra HP. There are going to be a lot of different choices for LT Headers and Intakes. If you have any questions, give me a call. JT |
