There is no cure.
There never has been, nor will there ever be a cure.
Things like marriage and children can at best offer stop gap chance at managing the problem, but you are now, and will be forever infected with the modding virus.
The number one killer of income in Camaro owners ages 15-99.
The only thing you can do is wear a sign around your neck that reads "Unclean" and ring a bell every time someone gets near you, like a biblical leper.

Hahaha, yes my friend you will find that its only going to get worse and worse. You will hate the end of the month when the credit card statement arrives and you look in bewilderment at the ridiculous charges while scratching your head.

Then you walk into your garage, turn the key with a huge shit eating grin as your baby roars to life with the lopey can thumping your garage floor, setting off car alarms within a block radious. After paying off the previous dept you then figure out that you are not quite done and rack up another 6k in charges lol.

This is pretty much the non ending viscious cycle. Oh and it gets worse if you run somebody and god forbid lose a race (ask me how i know).

Walk into any Harley shop and notice the custom parts section is bigger than the section where the scooters are. Big boy toys are to be played with.

I'm starting to feel the mod bug creep up in me, looking to get a catch can with my exhaust system and possibly cams in the spring with suspension in the fall. Please make it stop.

You might have a slim chance if you stop coming to the forum, I'm like: ok I will cool down for couple months or so, then I see read a post about a part that I had no idea existed and my brain goes "Oh I need that", but for that specific that, you also need this and that, and since you are getting this and that, might as well get the other.

If you are rushing home to meet the UPS guy before your wife does...you might be addicted.

Or when you get home you see a package in the front door, you know it's for your car, but you have no idea what it is. lol Like yesterday, saw it, knew it was for my car, but didn't know what it was, since I have few parts floating around UPS, USPS and Fedex. Ended up being the Oracle Concept Mirrors

Depends what your goals are. Since I factory ordered my car, I got all the options just so. I did all the typical performance boltons and a second set of wheels and tires. I really like the OE look in my color/stripe combination so I haven't been tempted to mod the exterior with the sole exception of gills. The only thing inside were premium mats (the OEs are pretty chinsey). I am now very happy and content with the state of the car. It's got more power than can be used on the street and it looks great. Bug has been satiated.
