Trunk Rally Stripe Spacing

Hey everybody,

I love this forum and enlisting the assistance from anyone with a 6th Gen with rally stripes.

I recently paid a shop (actually the insurance company did) $1150 to do vinyl satin black stripes on my car which to me sounds astronomical in terms of price.

I don't think they got the spacing right above the 3rd brake light. I feel the gap (seen in the picture below) is too much and that it should closely follow the body line in the middle of the light and be as close to the 3rd brake light as possible. They say it is right and it's too hard to tell from stock picture online.

Can anyone help me out with some close up pictures of the spacing on theirs?

Thanks guys!

it looks fine to me. I'd be more concerened if the gap between stripes was uneaven and narrowed in like some other guy's here.

I actually had that problem with the stripes that were originally put on before the accident.....I made sure that didn't happen again

Here is a photo for you. The spacing on yours and mine look to be about the same. I think you are good. Man, the insurance company got hosed on the price. I paid $500 for stripes and install using a local vendor through the dealership.
