Car audio sub install
Wondering if anyone has had any issues adding an aftermarket amp to the 6gen non Bose? Thinking about adding a JL Audio w7 with an LOC. but not sure if it will drown out the stock speakers. Anyone bypass this and installed an amp to those speaker?

I added a amp to my 1SS Non Bose and added rear deck speakers. Adding a sub would be easier. On my car the factory amp is in the trunk. Just needed a sub thump harness and a line level capable amplifier. You will also need to disable ANC.

Just make sure to get an adjustable amp (maybe they all area, I don't know), and it'll add a nice low end fill. I added one to my Bose system and I love it. You should have posted this in the "Audio, Video, Bluetooth, Nav, Radar, Electronics" sub forum for better response. I did this and it works good for my type of music...80's rock. It fit nicely too.
