DSE Front / Rear Drop Springs

DSE Drop Spring 1.5" Drop - P/N: 031131 @ 220 lbs/in. x2
DSE Drop Spring 1.5" Drop - P/N: 041812 @ 425 lbs/in. x2

DSE Springs are on order. Waiting for packing confirmation. I suppose it is a fair question to ask: Do I need to upgrade Rear Shock Mounts to 1LE? I'm going to pair the springs with Bilstein B6. Thank you.

Also: Do I need to replace the strut bolt and strut nut when going aftermarket?

Alignment currently out of wack. Driving home felt an incredible difference in compliance from all four struts. DSE springs mostly tame on freeway and turning. I will have more information when alignment is complete tomorrow.

Looks great! Did you measure the front and rear ride heights before installing the DSE coil springs? I ask because it doesn't appear to be a 1.5" drop.

I did not measure heights unfortunately. It looks to be about a conservative 1" drop. I do feel like we could have gone lower but with this non adjustable setup I am content. The guy at the shop unknowingly topped my coolant without permission so my main concern is bubbles. I'll revisit that dilemma at alignment tomorrow.

What is your impression of the ride after the alignment? Looks good.

The ride was a great improvement through corners and acceleration. Shifting through gears in straight line also had improvement. I am able to carry much more speed through corners and have more feedback from the rear. I do feel that I will need to upgrade sway bars now, as I felt that this was beginning to lack in comparison to the new ride and ride height.
