Hi folks
I have some K&N cleaner and oil for air filters and was wanting some input on using this stuff in my CAI system. I know it says to use CAI products but the stuff looks the same to me. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter would helpful. Thanks!

It's a cleaner and oil......all the same.

I'm sure it's the same, but like anything every manufacture will try to scare you into only using their product. My guess is K&N has a similar disclaimer that says only use their oil on their filters. The manufacture doesn't only want to sell you the initial product but a lifetime of wear items to go with it and they can somewhat control that by telling you to only use theirs.
