Love for the Corvette Family...

When I owned Camaro's, the majority of muscle car guys said my Camaro's weren't true muscle cars cuz of the automatic transmissions.

The Corvette Family ALWAYS had great things to say about my Camaro's and didn't care about the transmissions. They even made my wife and I honorary members of the Cedar Valley Corvette Club.

We're offical members now.

Now that we own a C7, no one cares about the transmission. Excepty my buddy, who gives me crap about it. He's my buddy, I expect no less from him.

It's ALWAYS been great to get love from other car enthusiasts regardless of the transmission in my cars, BUT much love goes out to all of the Corvette Family for their appreciation and fellowship.

Within my Corvette Club, no one cares about transmissions. We all have what we have, and they are all great. Sometimes we get to choose what we get, sometimes we don't, and we take the trans that comes with the car.

I love my 7 speed, but I can't wait to drive a C7 with auto, as they are all great. The auto for sure shall out-shift my 7 speed. This is especially true with me doing the shifting.

So, maybe I get to drive someone's auto and in turn gets to drive my 7 speed.

I doubt we shall be trading C7s though.
