Engine type on 2LS/RS

Hi all,

New to the forum. I own the Spring edition coupe RS 6 speed auto. Love it. I saw recently some one mention the "type of engine" the 6 cyl. have. How would I go about finding what type of engine I have? and can someone give a build count on the Spring edition coupe RS 6 cyl.? Thanks

Pretty sure you have an LFX.....GM stopped putting the LLT in the Camaro after the 2011 model year

And I'm reasonably sure you don't have a "2LS/RS" as stated in your thread title. The RS package is not an option on the LS trim levels.

2010-11 V6 = LLT engine
2012-present V6 = LFX engine

Welcome to the forum!
