Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but when in the certain amount of light, my car appears to have a purple tint. I really don't like it! anyone else notice this sometimes?

I've had people make that comment. I don't see it really, but that's because I get mezmerized by the sparkles.

it makes it look really ugly and dirty to be honest... it sucks

I have seen it but I think it's just one of those things you have to expect when you are dealing with a metallic paint. I've also seen blue's in it as well. I get a lot of compliments on the paint.

I had an '02 Vette that was magnetic red metallic and at night if I parked under certain lights the car was purple and not just a little either... like you come out of the bar and say "who has that ugly purple corvette... with my license plates on it" haha

i've seen some purple sometimes, and then some green sometimes.

You know guys, You have to have a good understanding of what your buying into. some (NOT ALL) but some metal flake paints will do that. Color, clear coats can affect the degree of that. Carbon Flash is one of them ( As if you dod not know, OR found out fast) My harley is the same way with a "Flip Flop" color That being Black Cherry. ether your goin g to like it of not but, thats what YOU bought. All I can say is with this is its not your run of the mill. Its something different that sets it apart from the many that are cranked out of the factory. Carbon Flash, Made only for 1 year. On 45ths only. In 2013 it will be gone. It is something Special.

If there's enough interest in the color, they may bring it out again next year. Like the synergy green. Not that it will happen, but it could.

I have noticed the same thing with my car. At first I really didn't like it but then I thought, hey this is pretty unique, so I'm OK with it now. I think all the carbon flash paint jobs are the same. You, like me, probably just looked closer at it than others, but as I mentioned, I think they are all the same. I don't mind it anymore, actually its kind of cool because it is different.

I like my metallic in my ABM. Sometimes it's green sometimes it's blue and I love it just like that
