Flying out to pick up my 2SS tomorrow morning!

Wasn't sure where to post, but I felt like I needed to tell someone since it will be a surprise for friends at home. I'm in St Louis, but will be flying out to Savannah, GA tomorrow, and driving the car home from Franklin Chevrolet in Statesboro, GA. Can't wait to get behind the wheel tomorrow afternoon. Eleven hour drive should be a fun one, will probably take longer since I'll be shooting video along the way.

I'll be making a build thread eventually, but you can always follow along on my YouTube channel, and Facebook page (Bad Bowtie Productions on both).../shameless plug. I will be doing many tests on it, stock first (dyno, track, etc.) and then transitioning to part testing and showcasing. I have a few small sponsorships lined up that should help with that as well. I plan to be as thorough as possible for the community, so suggestions are always welcome.

Shout out to Lee Hudgens at Franklin Chevy for cutting me a deal...on a holiday no less!

Hey congrats man. Very excited for you. I remember when I flew out to buy my very used 2002 Trans Am. But getting my new Camaro was that 1000 times over.

Make sure to vary your speed/rpms on the way home, don't use the cruise.

I hope you got the A8 so you can put in work.

Hey thanks man, I always appreciate every fan. I've already given some thought to the break-in since it will be tough doing a lot of highway miles but I guess I'll just have to have some fun along the way to make sure I don't stay in one gear the whole time.

And no worries, I got the A8. I'm a 6-speed fan but when it comes time to do work, autos are the answer.

Congrats! Did museum delivery on my first Vette 15 years ago, a 2001 Z51 C5 and loved it. My Dad and I flew out and drove it back. As said and you already know this anyway, just vary rpm and speed. You can play with the paddles of the 8-speed. It's fun anyway.

You're going to love driving it! It's really an epic road car. Very comfortable and smooth.
