GM Performance SC1 package sway bars installed (w/o magride) on 2SS tips+impressions
I just installed just the FE4 sway bars from this package on a '23 Camaro SS w/o mag ride. I haven't installed the upgraded lower control arms yet because I didn't want to mess with the alignment with the car being so new.
Impressions: exactly what you would expect from an advertised 18% reduction in body roll. Everything feels tighter and more confidence inspiring when in the corners and canyons (street). IMO, any stiffer than this would compromise the grip with the stock SS wheels (245/275). The ride quality feels exactly the same, which is great because without magride it can be rough over bad pavement. I don't think I would be interested in the lowering kit that goes with this set being that I don't have magride. IMO these probably should have been the stock bar for all V8 equipped Camaros. I'm excited to later install the spherical bearing LCA's to further improve the steering feel, I'm happy with everything else (for now )
