Normally a TPW is assigned at 3000, but my feeling
with the Corvette is that they may not "assign" TPW's
right away. This is new production of a "halo" vehicle
and GM's going to what it to be perfect. So there may
be cars headed down the line and it may stop and
start several times. If the TPW's are given out, and
VIN's aren't produced, it may head off alot of concerns
for those who are waiting...........just my .02
