Like Glenn, I also dyed my stitching on my 2010 Camaro; black leather with red stitching. As I posted on camaro5.com, if you do it correctly and with the right dye, you'll have no problems with durability or color fade.
Yes, you do it one stitch at a time, but it goes fast. I did my entire interior (seats, door panels, steering wheel, etc) in about 3 hours. See
post #48 for the correct technique and product (dye).
