A limited edition version of the Raptor from Ford Racing called the Raptor XT will feature a high output version of the 6.2 L V8 with approximately 500 horsepower (370 kW)

411 hp (306 kW) @ 5500 rpm, 434 lb·ft (588 N·m) @ 4500 rpm is the standard raptor 6.2 liter.

385 hp (287 kW) @ 5500 rpm, 405 lb·ft (549 N·m) @ 4500 rpm

dont forget those numbers fellas.

the mustang was given the coyote to compete with the ls3, but there is another motor that can easily kill the LS-3.
and GM already has a pile of engines to compete with those. the ls7 has been out for years and is 505 hp. lsa is 556, ls9 is 638. the ls3 also has more power in the vette than the camaro. it can easily put out more hp from the factory.

either ford or gm could make an n\a pony car with 500 hp. but their thinking is "why?"

they're both already faster than anything in their price range. for for the time being 426hp and 412 hp is enough.
