The new '14 Silverados are on the lots now I like them personally. This is the last production year for the avalanche so if your looking for the luxury of an SUV with the functionality of a truck thats the way to go. If you're looking for a Half ton I would stay with GM they have nicer interiors anything bigger (3/4-1 ton) Ford is the way to go.
