GT350 and GT350R

I am trying to understand why people are expecting these cars to be light years ahead of the ZL1 and Z/28. In terms of technological advancement, I can see the argument with the extensive use of composites not seen in this segment previously. But in terms of performance they are using the same suspension as the ZL1. Equivalent brakes. And as far as weight savings, they will weigh closer to the outgoing Mustang curb weight after you account for the weight gained on the current gen and weight savings from the composites.

Now, with that being said, obviously they benchmarked the current cars as their target so they will be faster. I am just not seeing what people are seeing to make them think they will be so much faster that GMs plans to beat them had better be warp drives and full carbon fiber monocoque chassis as some people seem to believe.

It's a Dingledarm. It's there to dampen side fumbling. If your marzelvanes fumble too much they can cause total protonic reversal. It gets ugly from there. This is really the biggest problem with the new Camaro. That and the tri-pronged blivot.
