Driving your car into a water hole and causing damage to the engine is an accident and a coverable issue just the same as if they would have done body damage. Getting in your car and starting it to fine no oil pressure is a part failure not an accident. That isn't an insurance companies problem. It shoukd have been GM's problem, but they used there own laweryer talk to escape their responsibility.
