Tennessee is a beautiful state, but they still get too much cold for me. We visited Nashville last year and were very impressed with all of the little joints downtown with the music and all, lots of fun.
I have never seen so many hat stores and boot stores in one city....LOL

The humidity along the coast line isn't near as bad as it is inland. The freezing line is usually above I-4. I'm in Jacksonville now but plan to retire in the Daytona Beach area. It's 28 here now with a SLOW warming trend on the way. I need more firewood!
