The pictures I saw were in black & white and very grainy which would be true if taken from a mile away as indicated in the article. There were several pics and most had 2 other cars in them. One of the cars was identified as a Stingray and I could not tell what the other one was. There was a comment about what the writer identified as a mid-engine Vette. He said you could tell it was probably the new mid-engine Vette because it looked like it was several inches wider than the Stingray.
My comment is that the Stingray and 'mid-engine' were at different angles, the new vehicle was camouflaged, pic taken at great, it was impossible to see any difference. A Z06 is several inches wider than a Stingray and most could not tell the difference at 100 yrds let alone a mile. Given the quality of the pics, I don't think anyone could tell what it is.
