Comparing the power to weight ratio of the C7 Z06 to the C6 ZR1 obviously where it gets its performance improvements is coming from other areas besides just power to weight ratios. This car is going to carry much more speed through the corners and pick up a ton of time, also with the fast shifting 8 speed auto it will pick up time there.
Though this isn't the more hard core track car that the Z06 started back up again in 2001, it is pretty far from that car at this point in time.
