I do remember the 1999 Cobra had a big issue with the IRS breaking under power, alot of local guys replaced them with GT rear axles. SVT did some restructuring not too long after that.

well like I said it was a tv show that said it. I was trying to find it on the net here. but can't. so I'm prob remembering wrong but according to the story I was reading they weren't even making the claimed 320 hp in 99 that they were suppose to. it was a car and driver story that stated this
