I also found out that even if a dealer doest have allocation sometimes an order will be accepted because another dealer hasn't put in an order for which they have allocation. Yes for this car its rare but I have found out from a very reliable source this is the case. That is why some dealers will put in the order to see if it will be accepted but this is where the dealer has to be upfront with you.
