In an automatic vette, you can turn off the sound management on the info/entertainment screen. However, the active fuel management will still operate in any drive mode. There are 4 valves on a vettes exhaust. 2 you see on the tips which you can make stay open by turning sound management off. The other 2 are for AFM which you can not turn off. Unless you are on the throttle giving it a good amount of gas, the AFM kicks in about 1700rpm. This where you go from 8 to 4 cyls. They should have it shut off in track or sport mode but they didn't.
