But with this case the woman never knew she had HIV. Otherwise it's illegal to knowingly have HIV/AIDS and have a child without giving the child medicine during pregnancy. The medicine given during pregnancy is very efficient so having a child born with it is very rare in today's age.

Interesting... I had never thought about a child being born with it. I see where the window is very short where this cure will work. Hopefully they can extend that and cure adults as well.
